NEW ORLEANS (AP) - A Democratic group has announced an ethics complaint against Republican U.S. Sen. David Vitter. The American Democracy Legal Fund says it wants an investigation launched into a $100,000 money transfer from Vitter's federal campaign account to an independent PAC supporting his 2015 run for governor.

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - Republicans say U.S. Sen. Mary Landrieu fell short of her pledge to review all her taxpayer-funded private charter flights to make sure they complied with the law. The Democratic senator, seeking re-election on the November ballot, released a review of flights dating back to February 2002.

EDGARD, La. (AP) - A state judge in Edgard has sentenced 49-year-old Errol Victor to life in prison and his wife, 40-year-old Tonya Victor, 40, to 21 years for the beating death of her 8-year-old son M.L. Lloyd III in 2008. Reports state that the judge handed down the sentence Monday at a courthouse in St. John the Baptist Parish.

METAIRIE, La. (AP) - A person familiar with the situation says New Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram has a broken hand. Saints coach Sean Payton, when asked about the injury on Monday, says he's following his policy of not releasing injury information until the next NFL-required injury report.
