OXFORD, Miss. (AP) - Marshall Henderson scored 18 points, Jarvis Summers added 12 and Mississippi rallied to beat Vanderbilt 65-62 on Saturday. Ole Miss won for just the second time in eight games. The Rebels trailed for almost the entire afternoon, but pushed ahead 61-60 on two free throws by Henderson with 3:36 remaining.
STARKVILLE, Miss. (AP) - South Carolina's Brenton Williams had seven 3-pointers and a game-high 27 points in a 74-62 road victory over Mississippi State Saturday. Williams had four of those 3-pointers in the second half to highlight a 22-4 run by South Carolina. Sindarius Thornwell added 22 points for the Gamecocks.
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - Alabama's Justin Kamplain, Jay Shaw and Geoffrey Bramblett combined to throw the school's first nine-inning no-hitter since 1942 as the Crimson Tide defeated Mississippi Valley State 7-0 on Saturday. Kamplain struck out a career-high 12 - including his last 10 outs - in seven innings, Shaw walked one in an inning and Bramblett retired all three batters he faced in the ninth.
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - Maurice Strong scored 16 points and grabbed seven rebounds as Alabama State edged Jackson State 67-63 on Saturday night. Jamel Waters added 17 points, five assists and four rebounds for the Hornets. Brandon Graham had 11.
