    At least one person was taken to the hospital Monday afternoon after police say a child knocked a car into drive.Jackson police say it happened at the Village Apartments on Raymond Road. A woman got out of a white vehicle and left her grandchild inside.Police say the child apparently put the car in drive and it rolled into building 29 at the complex after rolling over the grandmother's foot. One person was inside the building, no other injuries were reported.

    Jackson Firefighters spent part of Monday night battling a house fire. Officials tell us the fire started at a vacant home in the 1000 block of Woodrow Wilson Avenue around 9:00 p.m. Chief Arson Investigator tells us there were no injuries reported. The fire is under investigation at this time, and we’ll bring you more details as they become available.
