    TCHULA, Miss. - A 53-year-old man is jailed after he allegedly assaulted an officer with his vehicle that led to an officer involved shooting more than a week ago.Earl Anderson remains in the Holmes County Jail on numerous charges. The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation is investigating the shooting, in which a Tchula police officer fired at least 11 rounds into Anderson's truck on the night of Aug. 8.

    One man dies after losing control of his ATV in Claiborne County.It happened on Highway 548 off of Highway 18 around 7:00 tonight.Sheriff Martin Lucas tells us 33-year-old Sherman Evans was 4-wheeling on the highway.Evans told officials he lost control and flipped.He died on the way to the hospital.The accident is under investigation.
