A Hazlehurst woman is killed when the car she was riding in collides with a freight train.  81-year-old Mary Kitchens died in the crash on Monticello Road.  Her husband, who was driving the car, was seriously hurt.  He was transported to UMC.  Officials say the warning devices at the railroad crossing were working.  The crash is under investigation.
