Meteorologist Justin Cooper is the most recent addition to the News Channel 7 Storm Team. He comes to the Upstate from Las Vegas, Nevada and can be seen on News Channel 7 Saturday and Sunday mornings.

Justin holds the National Weather Association Seal of Approval and is also a member of the American Meteorological Society. He has been in broadcasting for 20 years, working in radio, print and television.

His mother was born in South Carolina although Justin was raised in “Viva” Las Vegas. Justin is thrilled to join the award-winning Storm Team and “forecast some real weather.” He started his television career in Reno, Nevada, and then he moved on to Palm Springs, California before returning to his hometown of Las Vegas.

Justin has a passion for doing weather and graduated from Mississippi State. He also loves to golf and is looking forward to playing the fine courses in the Upstate.
