Brittany Noble-Jones is the weekday co-anchor for News Channel 12 This Morning and News Channel 12 at Noon. She joined the team in August 2015.
Noble-Jones is happy to be back in Mississippi having spent her college years not far from Jackson. She holds a bachelor's degree from Alcorn State University and a master's degree from Arkansas State University.
Most recently she was a reporter for KMOV-TV, the CBS station in her hometown of St. Louis, Missouri. There she was credited with being one of the first reporters to cover the officer-involved shooting which led to the death of Michael Brown an unarmed black teen whose shooting death gained national attention and led to weeks of protests and demonstrations in Ferguson, Missouri. She also gained national attention when she was the only reporter to report on the case of Terry Robinson, a St. Louis man who alleged police misconduct after he said he was unjustly detained and secretly recorded officers threatening to plant evidence on him.
During her time in St. Louis, Noble-Jones was named the Best TV Reporter by the St. Louis Magazine and the Riverfront Times. Deluxe Magazine lists her as someone who inspires. She was also named the National Association of Black Journalists' 2015 Emerging Journalist of the Year.
Noble-Jones prides herself on being a multimedia journalist whose expert use of social media enhances her reporting and allows her to better engage with the audience.
She also worked as a reporter at WEYI-TV the NBC affiliate in Flint, Michigan. She began her on-air career as a reporter at WBBJ-TV the ABC affiliate in Jackson, Tennessee. Her first job in television was behind the scenes when she worked as an associate producer at KAIT-TV in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
In her spare time, she enjoys giving back to the community. She was inducted into the Gamma Phi chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated. Her husband Michael Jones is a proud member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated.
