MADISON, Miss. (WJTV) -- Madison Police found a credit card skimmer attached to the ATM at a bank.
Officers received a call from the BancorpSouth on Colony Crossing Madison about a possible skimmer attached to the ATM.
Police said the branch manager told them that a customer pulled the device off around 4:30 p.m Monday. The next day, the bank reported it to Madison Police, they said. They said the device appeared to be a working skimmer.
Officers said they notified the United States Secret Service. They are assisting with the investigation. Madison officers said they went to other banks in the area to check to see if ATM skimmers had been attached to them. They did not find anymore in their jurisdiction.
