Flowood Police Chief Richie McCluskey retires

FLOWOOD, Miss (WJTV) - Flowood Police Chief Richie McCluskey confirmed today his retirement from the Flowood Police Department effective immediately.

McCluskey begin his law enforcement career with Flowood in 1988 where he worked through the ranks leaving in 2000 as Chief Investigator to work as a State Investigator with the Attorney General’s Office. He worked there for 15 years and left as the Director of Investigations. He returned to Flowood as Chief in January 2015.

“It has been a privilege & honor to serve the City of Flowood. The men & women of the department are the finest professionals you’ll find and I’m confident the tradition will continue," said McCluskey.
