The University of Southern Mississippi to provide security expertise for 2022 World Cup

HATTIESBURG, Miss (WJTV) - The National Center for Spectator Sports Safety and Security at the University of Southern Mississippi is working with FIFA to improve security of the 2022 World Cup.   

For the last 12 years, N-C-S-4 has worked with professional and collegiate sports leagues all over the world.

The group provides training for first responders, law enforcement and emergency managers which deal with stadium security and fan safety.

Dr. Lou Marciani,  the Directors of NCS4 says they will be providing detailed training courses for those running the world cup in Qatar.
