Storm Team 11 Weather: Sct. Showers/Storms Tonight

Posted: Updated:
JOHNSON CITY, TN (WJHL) - The Storm Team 11 Forecast:

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible once again today, although coverage should be less compared to yesterday. Overall, rain chances today will be about 40%. It will be a hot and humid day as well with highs in the upper 80s.

A few showers may linger overnight tonight as temperatures fall back into the upper 60s. Areas of fog are possible tomorrow morning.

Changes begin to move into the area tomorrow following a backdoor cold front passing through later today. Rain chances fall to 30% on Sunday as highs reach the mid 80s.

By Monday, rain chances look to only be around 20% with highs in the low to mid 80s. We won't completely be getting rid of the humid air, but conditions look to become slightly more comfortable by the beginning of the work week.

High pressure will be our main weather player for the work week, so overall we can expect mainly dry conditions. A few showers/storms may be possible closer to the end of next week as temperatures make a return into the upper 80s.

Have a great day!
