Erin Pickens is an award-winning journalist with more than 16 years of experience in television news. Since June 2002, she has been the morning and noon news anchor for WJTV, the CBS affiliate in Jackson, Mississippi. She has worked in television news in her hometown of Memphis, TN, in Greenville, MS, and in Jackson, TN. Erin has worked both in front of the camera and behind the scenes.
Erin is a graduate of the University of Memphis where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Junior League of Jackson, the Jackson Association of Black Journalists, the National Association of Black Journalists, and the Central Mississippi Chapter of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women. Erin is also a 2009-2010 graduate of Leadership Greater Jackson and active with Leadership Jackson Alumni.
