Scott County -
Scott County Sheriff's Department is investigating a homicide that happened Tuesday morning.
Scott County Coroner Joe Bradford has confirmed the death of 23 year old Martez Stowers. Stowers was pronounced dead at the Lackey Hospital Emergency Room at 10:44AM from a shotgun wound to the left hip that likely hit an artery.
Due to authorities still trying to contact witnesses and gathering more information, nothing more could be revealed about the incident.
