Forest - Otis Lloyd hasn't paid child support in more than 2 years. That's why Scott County Chancery Judge David Clark has ordered Lloyd to wear a sign saying "I haven't paid child support and I'm in contempt of court." Lloyd will wear that sign for three hours, three days a week until he can pay off the more than $13,000 that he owes. Judge Clark said that he will not comment on the case.
But Lloyd's family is speaking out. They tell News Channel 12 that Lloyd has cancer and he should be exposed to the elements, like he is while standing in front of the Scott County Courthouse. The NAACP visited Lloyd Thursday morning in Forest. Vice President Charles Hampton says the organization may take up Lloyd's case.
