Hinds Community College and Mississippi University for Women Wednesday announce details of a new agreement that will be a boon for students studying the culinary arts in the Jackson area.
The 2 Plus 2 agreement between Hinds CC and MUW allows culinary arts students to finish their bachelor's degrees at Jackson Campus-Academic/Technical Center, where the Hinds program is based.
A signing ceremony is 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 27 in Room 133-135, Bivins Building at Jackson Campus-Academic/Technical Center on Sunset Drive in Jackson.
Speakers include presidents of both colleges – Hinds President Dr. Clyde Muse and MUW President Dr. Jim Borsig – a Hinds student in the current program and Erich Ogle, director of MUW's Culinary Arts Institute.
