UNC police need help identifying theft suspects

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -

The UNC Department of Public Safety needs help identifying individuals seen in surveillance footage that may be involved in break-ins at the Student Union building recently. 

According to investigators, the Student Union was broken into around 3 a.m. on March 31 and then again at 10:30 a.m. on April 1. 

A sculpture by Clyde Jones went missing from the Student Union about the same time. 

Anyone who can help identify the people in the pictures is asked to contact UNC Police Investigator Ross Barbee at (919) 962-0564 or contact the Chapel Hill-Carrboro-UNC CrimeStoppers at (919) 942-7515.
