RALEIGH, N.C. -

A former volunteer and one-time employee of the Wake County Animal Center is facing multiple charges, after police say he was having sex with shelter dogs and photographing the acts.

They say he then posted those pictures online, which led to his arrest.

Seadon Henrich, 21, of 6717 Steves Drive in Zebulon, was arrested Thursday and charged with four counts of crime against nature and three counts of felony dissemination of obscenity.

According to Wake County Chief Magistrate Dexter Williams, Henrich was a former employee of the shelter but was allowed to return as a volunteer.

The acts, officials say, took place for more than a year.

At Henrich's home Thursday night, a dog was barking in the front yard, as a woman told WNCN reporter Jonathan Carlson to "go away", when asked for comment.

Henrich is being held under $70,000 bond. His first court appearance is scheduled for Friday.
