JACKSON - The Jackson State Tigers baseball team bounced back to beat the Alabama State Hornets, after losing a double header on Saturday. The Tigers beat ASU 15-4 in seven innings at Braddy Field, regaining sole possession of first place in the SWAC Eastern Division.
With the win JSU improved to 22-18, 16-5 and ASU fell to 26-18, 15-6.
JSU return to action Wednesday, April 24 for a mid-week game against the University of New Orleans. First pitch is set for 6 pm.
