Ringling Bros Circus "fully charged" and ready for Roanoke

Posted: Updated:

It's called the "Greatest Show on Earth" -- and it's roaring into Roanoke for a four day engagement.

Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus' all new production"Fully Charged, Gold Edition" takes over the Roanoke Civic Center Thursday, May 2 - Sunday, May 5.

The show's producers describe it as a more intimate circus experience that puts the audience closer to the action than many other circuses.  It features electrifying acts like knife throwers, acrobats, stunt riders, jugglers, clowns, and a whole slew of performing animals.

One hour prior to each show, all ticket holders can come down into the ring, interact with the performers, and see what the circus life is like firsthand at the free All Access Pre-show.

Show times are as follows:

Thursday, May 2: 7:00pm

Friday, May 3: 7:00pm

Saturday, May 4: 1:00pm and 5:00pm

Sunday, May 5:  1:00pm and 5:00pm

Tickets are $10 for kids and $20 for adults.  A limited number of $25 VIP and $35 VIP Floor seats are also available.
