Alleghany County Sheriff Kevin Hall now tells WSLS that investigators believe 24-year-old Ashley Kimberlin Rodriguez is dead.

Deputies have a warrant out for the arrest of 33-year-old Rosendo "Manuel" Rodriguez, on a charge of first degree murder.

The couple was married, and has four children together.  Sheriff Hall says other family members are caring for the children.

Hall added that investigators found Ashley's body covered with dirt, not buried, behind the office at Alleghany Memorial Park cemetery.  She had been shot in the face according to Hall, and dental records will be needed to positively confirm the body's identity.
