It's that time of year again Jackson! The Mississippi Roadmap to Health Equity Farmers' Market, located at 2548 Livingston Rd, will be celebrating the seasonal opening of its fourth Annual Farmers' Market on Saturday June 8, 2013, from 9am-3:00pm., and continues every subsequent Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday until Thanksgiving. There will be live music, fun and games for the kids and door prizes in addition to the delectable, farm fresh fruit and vegetables you already love.
The market, established in 2010 by the Mississippi Roadmap to Health Equity, Inc. was designed to increase access to local, healthy, and affordable produce in the Greater Jackson Area, and to create an enjoyable, educational, safe community event that brings people together. This unique market will primarily feature locally grown fresh fruits and vegetables, and will also accept EBT (Electronic Benefit Transfer) cards.
The Mississippi Roadmap Farmers' Market opening will be Saturday June 8, 2013, from 9:00a.m. till 3:00pm.

The Roadmap's mission is to achieve health equity in Jackson, Mississippi by advocating for change within the community institutions that influence people's everyday lives. Our goal is to change these institutions so that they will support and never inhibit the community's efforts to be healthy.
