This summer the Mississippi Children’s Museum (MCM) will have special Bob the Builder weekly programs and special appearances by Bob himself! These programs will take place in the Bob the Builder—Project: Build It traveling exhibit during the regularly scheduled program time.
Every Wednesday morning, Bob the Builder will join Ready to Roar Reading Time at 10:00 a.m. The reading time will feature stories with construction and teamwork themes. Join MCM’s Facilities and Grounds Manager, Bill Patterson, for “Build It with Bob” during one Tinker with Tuesday a month. During this program visitors will learn about construction safety and tools, and even get to build something! Wrap up summer with an all-day Bob the Builder celebration on Saturday, August 3!
Bob the Builder – Project: Build It is a 2,000 square-foot multimedia exhibit. It is the first-ever hands-on traveling exhibit about Bob the Builder and is sponsored nationally by Delta Faucet, and inspired by HIT Entertainment’s top rated television series, Bob the Builder – Project: Build It. The exhibit replicates elements from Bob the Builder’s world, inviting exploration, inspiring teamwork and bringing environmentally friendly building themes to life for children and families.
Admission to Bob the Builder—Project: Build It and educational programs is free with paid admission to the museum. The presenting sponsor for this year’s traveling exhibit is Trustmark.
