Drug Bust In Adams County Leads to Two Arrests

An Adams County Sheriff's Office search warrant led to seizure of drugs, money and paraphernalia. Deputies and Metro Narcotics agents arrived at 7 Mazique Lane with a search warrant at approximately 7PM, Monday, June 10, 2013 as a result of an ongoing drug investigation. Upon entering the residence, law enforcement officer found 310 grams of high grade marijuana, 0.1 gram of Methamphetamine, 186 promethazine with codeine (street name: syrup).

During the search of the house, deputies and agents also found 7 rifles, 2 hand guns, digital weighing scales, surveillance equipment and $19,350 in cash.

Two arrests have been made: Renard Allen Wimley and Keisha Lashae Johnson both of whom are charged with possession of schedule 1 controlled substance with intent to distribute while in possession of a firearm,  possession of schedule 2 controlled substance—methamphetamine,  possession of schedule 5 controlled substance--promethazine  with codeine.
