(3:37 a.m.)

The South Side Fire Department reports that the house is a total loss. By the time the first engine arrived, the roof was already collapsing.

No one was injured in the blaze. The house was vacant.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

News Channel 11 has learned of an early morning fire in Erwin. 

According to dispatchers, the fire has fully engulfed a home near Canah Chapel in Erwin.

South Side, Unicoi County and Limestone Cove Fire Departments are responding.

Crews are currently working to contain the blaze.

There is no word on any injuries at this time.
