Jackson Police have arrested two men in connection with recent church robberies in Northeast Jackson.
19-year-old Terrance Lee and 21-year-old Donuvan Beddingfield are behind bars, charged with three counts of Armed Robbery of an Individual. Police say, right now, Lee and Beddingfield are only charged with the robberies at Northminster Baptist Church. Assistant Chief Lee Vance told us Tuesday JPD believes the same men are responsible for the robberies at St. Richard Catholic Church. Lee and Beddingfield have not been charged for those robberies, but we're told more charges are possible.
Area churchgoers say whoever did this should pay the price.
"They should punish them to the fullest extent of the law," says Shannan Ross. "For someone to rob you at the least likely of places--at church--is just to me appalling."
