Madison Co. and State authorities want to know who brutally killed two horses on a farm in Madison County.
Owner Kay Van Skiver says she reported the mother and her filly missing Thursday morning. Hours later, an employee found the pair dead inside a small, hot, room inside of the barn. Skiver says the horses were locked inside and died from the heat. Authorities say the act wasn't random and are investigating the incident as a crime.
Skiver and CrimeStoppers have a reward fund for information leading up to an arrest. Authorities say the person, or persons, responsible could be charged with animal cruelty.
