Raleigh police assisting in search efforts to locate missing teen

RALEIGH, N.C. -
Raleigh police are now assisting in efforts to locate a missing Wake County teen.

Ayshah Abu-Baker, 16, was last seen Saturday near the 1700 block of Crossroads Vista Drive. Police don't believe any foul play to be involved in her disappearance, but there is concern for the teen because authorities don't believe she has any of her prescription medication with her.

Abu-Baker is a white female who is approximately 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs around 150 pounds. She was last seen wearing a fuchsia-colored shirt and jeans.

Anyone who believes they may have seen Abu-Baker or who believes they know her present whereabouts is asked to call 911.
