JOHNSON CITY, TN (WJHL) -

Johnson City Police are trying to find two men who vandalized a police cruiser.

The damage wasn't too expensive to repair.  $300 covered the cost of replacing a broken spotlight, police said.

But it's what else they did that, police say, was not acceptable behavior.

"It appears the suspects urinated on the vehicle," said Johnson City Police investigator.

The vandals, two men described by police as white males, targeted a Johnson City Police cruiser parked in a lot at 150 W. State of Franklin Road, the Jobe Street parking lot. "The officer parked there for a brief time while performing a foot patrol of the downtown area. The vandalism occurred during that time," an investigator said.

Police are looking for a man seen wearing a red and white striped shirt another man wearing a black shirt.

The men were recorded by a surveillance camera as they left the parking lot.     Police released the images in hopes of making arrests in the case.
