Wednesday afternoon, Hinds County Sheriff's Deputies made what they call a big drug bust on Interstate 20.
Chief Deputy Chris Picou tells us deputies made a routine traffic stop and smelled marijuana in the car. They searched the vehicle and found a grocery store bag full of marijuana under the hood, but the big find was in the trunk: these suspects allegedly filled an aerosol hairspray can and a spare tire with about 10 pounds of marijuana. The street value is between $10,000 and $20,000.
The suspects are 49-year-old Larry Owned, 32-year-old Terrell Winfield and 31-year-old Donte Neely, all from the state of Indiana.
According to Chief Picou, they were pulled over in a rental car with an Ohio license plate.
The men will be charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
