Four Hokies Are Key Parts of the Redskins Squad in 2013 Camp

Posted: Updated:

Richmond reads like Blacksburg north this summer as four Hokies are on the Redskins squad, and all four are likely to start on Coach Shanahan's squad come September. Cornerback DeAngelo Hall, Center Will Montgomery, Outside Linebacker Darryl Tapp and Reciever Josh Morgan are all candidates to be starters.  Hall is currently nursing sprained ligaments in his ankle, and Tapp is working to learn a new position...as he is a natural Defensive end who is moving to a rush-outside linebacker in the Redskins defense. Montgomery is the anchor of the offensive line and Morgan was brought in to bolster a somewhat depleted wide receiver core. The quartet say they enjoy the fact that their are a bunch of Hokies running around camp as they all know that the Blacksburg products will do their jobs to make the team better. Montgomery also enjoys the fact that his high school team defeated Tapp/Hall's high school squad in the state HS finals all those years ago and isn't shy about bringing it up.
