Patriots Re-Tool High Powered Offense for 2013

Posted: Updated:

Purple power was on display Friday morning at Gainer Field. Stop eleven of our camp tour gets us some scrimmage action at Patrick Henry.  The Patriots got some work in against Massaponax out of Fredricksburg.  Coach Alan Fiddler  is known for his wide open offense. He got a look at a couple different quarterbacks to take the place of the departed David Prince--who is now at Virginia Tech.  Among the candidates for signal caller-- Patty Cotter..who is over from Roanoke Catholic.  Make no mistake coach Fiddler's wide open offense is a college level scheme that takes some getting used to.  The Patriots are coming off an 8-2 season and a playoff berth which saw them fall on the road at Colonial Forge by seven points. They open on August 30th against Hidden Valley.
