40-year-old Nolasco Eugenio was arrested Tuesday afternoon in Carthage. The sheriff says he was trying to get out of the area. He's behind bars in Madison County.
The victim has been identified as 43-year- old Jose Rosas.

We went to the trailer the sheriff says his suspect lived. Nobody was home.
