2 arrested in Georgia for Garner murder

GARNER, N.C. -

Garner police charged a Georgia man and woman in connection with the shooting death of a man on July 31.

Police said Ramon Antonyo Black, 25, of Savannah, Ga., was charged with murder in the shooting death of Kyevon Diates Frazzell Gayles. Ciara Timesha Jefferies, 24, of Savannah, Ga., was charged with accessory to murder to in death of Gayles.

Gayles, 35, was shot outside the Westchester Apartments in the 900 block of Seventh Ave. on July 31 at approximately 7:30 p.m.

Both Black and Jefferies were arrested in Savannah and are waiting extradition to North Carolina.
