Today Rankin County Investigators working on tips about a suspected burglary ring reached out to the Hinds County Sheriff's Office for help.
The partnership with these neighboring law enforcement agencies continues to be beneficial as together they work to make the metro area safe.
Rankin County acting on tips about theft in subdivisions under development, pursued a lead about new home appliances being stolen. The items were traced to 761 Wingfield Street in Jackson. Hinds County Sheriff's Deputies were able to obtain a search warrant for the above address and discovered more than $25,000 worth of appliances including refrigerators, dishwashers and air conditioner units.
