People from all across the country are in the Capital City for the 154th annual Mississippi State Fair. The Ferris Wheel, Mega Drop and the Freak-out maybe some popular rides, but many fair-goers enjoy the food.
Don't forget about Circus Maximus and the concerts. Some of the performers include Halstorm, Justin Moore, Three Dog Night and Morris Day & the Time.
Event organizers have also created an app for smart phones. It includes a full schedule of daily events, a map of the fairgrounds so that you can find your favorite ride or food vendor, and a feature to finding your car.
Tomorrow (Thursday 10/2), there is free admission from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. General admission is five-dollars per person. Parking is five-dollars. And, children five-years-old and under get in for free.
Performer Eric Benet will take the stage at 7:30 p.m. in the Budweiser Pavilion.
The fair ends on Sunday, October 13th.
