ERWIN, TN (WJHL) -

The 36th annual Unicoi County Apple Festival kicks off Friday morning in Erwin. Amanda Delp, the executive director of the Unicoi Chamber of Commerce, said she is expecting 110,000 people to attend the festival this year.

The event kicks off Friday morning and ends Saturday evening. The festival runs from 8am to 8pm each day.

Vendors, crafts, food and events will be down Main Street from Love to Second Street. This

"We added an entirely new area called the commons area. It's located off of Gay street just behind the Commons Area. We have over 50 new vendors in there. New craft and food vendors. A huge entertainment stage with lots of entertainment planned and a new food court," Ralph said.

To navigate the festival there is an app you can download to your smart phone called "Erwin Apple Festival." The app has the schedule of events, an interactive map of the vendors, and a way to search for a product you're trying to find.
