Home invasion in Spring Hill

SPRING HILL, FL (WFLA) -

Crime scene tape surrounded the small brick house on the corner lot of Bromley Avenue and Eddington Road in Spring Hill.

Deputies say shortly after 1 Thursday afternoon, 26-year-old Jeff Brehony came here with another man, to commit a home invasion.

They say Brehony is now armed and dangerous and should not be approached. He may be driving a 1997, silver Dodge Ram pick-up truck with the Florida tag, I669BN.

Inside the home, at least two people, a young girl and her grandmother. The girl said she had a gun pointed to her head.

Neighbors say, this kind of crime is very unusual. "It got me by surprise. Who knows what's going next?" said Erasmo Gonzalez. His wife agreed. "We don't have alarms or anything like that on the house so, something to think about" said Debbie Gonzalez.

Hernando deputies were led to a house on Genter Drive. It's the home where they say they found one of the guys involved in the home invasion. He's being questioned. Investigators hauled out bags of evidence, as they piece together what happened.
