CARY, N.C. -

WNCN's Morning Blitz visited Cary High School Friday, with WNCN Today anchor Phil Sanchez meeting a spirited pack of Imps to crank up the day of high school football.

Sanchez, filling in for Page Crawford, greeted an enthusiastic group at Cary. The Imps play Panther Creek tonight.

Cary is 2-3 overall and Panther Creek is 4-1.

Students arrived with Imp mascots painted on their faces to greet the WNCN cameras.

The WNCN morning crew has visited Millbrook, Garner, Cardinal Gibbons, Holly Springs and now Cary this year as a chance to give local schools a chance to showcase their successes on the morning of big high school football games.

Tune in Friday mornings to see which school WNCN Blitz will be at next.
