Police seek information in Durham hit-and-run

DURHAM, N.C. -

Police say a man was critically injured Saturday when his scooter was hit from behind on Durham-Chapel Hill Boulevard.

A 19-year-old male was riding a scooter east on Durham-Chapel Hill Boulevard when his scooter was struck from behind by an unknown vehicle around 10:11 p.m. Saturday, Durham Police said.

The driver of the scooter was thrown from the vehicle, causing him to suffer critical injuries.

Officers do not have a description of the suspect vehicle.

Durham Police have not released the identity of the victim.
