HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL (WFLA) - A Spring Hill woman flipped her car at a Veterans Expressway toll plaza after suffering a medical emergency early Monday morning.

The Florida Highway Patrol says 52-year-old Brenda Boyce was traveling southbound on SR-589 approaching the Sunpass lanes of the Sugarwood Toll Plaza when she experienced the medical emergency. 

She lost control of her car and collided with the lane divider.  Her car came to rest inside the Sunpass lane, tying traffic up for hours Monday morning.

Joyce was transported to the hospital.
