Head Start Center Hit By Bullet

Philadelphia, MS - According to a statement sent out by Attorney Charlene Priester, there was an incident that happened today at the Exhibit Hall Head Start Center in Philadelphia, MS.

According to Priester, an offsite altercation happened that resulted with a gun being discharged and the bullet hit the building.
No child or staff was injured and police were immediately called to investigate. Mississippi Action for Progress followed all safety procedures and locked down the school.

The school will be open for classes tomorrow.
