A Court hearing in Minnesota today will determine the next step for the 9-year old boy who stowed away on a flight to Las Vegas earlier this month. He's been in child protective custody since the incident and state officials argue he's in need of protection services. The boy's father has said he tried to get help but that he was told the boy hadn't yet done anything bad enough.

The National Association of Home Builders is releasing the housing market index for October, a measure of builder confidence. The index went up for four straight months until leveling off in September.

The Department of Game and Inland Fisheries is looking for public input at a meeting in Roanoke tonight as it plans to develop a statewide stocked trout management plan. The meeting is from 6:30 to 8:30 at Sportsman's Warehouse.

Blacksburg Transit will hold an information session tonight from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Blacksburg Motor Company. The focus will be the Environmental Site Assessment for the proposed Multi-Modal Transit Facility.
