SCOTT COUNTY - FOREST -

Update, 2:45 p.m. Sunday:

A Forest man is dead and another is behind bars after a shooting in Scott County.

The Scott County Coroner identifies the victim as 44-year-old Anthony Moore.

Forest Police Chief Will Jones identifies the suspect as 25-year-old Jazzmun Robinson. Chief Jones says he'll be charged with murder.

"They were face-to-face," says 13-year-old Victoria Macon, who witnessed her uncle being shot Saturday. "My uncle had kissed him right there. He said he was sorry, and the boy shot him."

Police say the shooting happened on Trenton Road in Forest.

"When I got out here, I was coming out the doors, walked out here, I looked down at him and shook, and he wasn't moving. I kept looking at him and kept calling, and he still didn't respond to me," says Anne Macon, the victim's mother.

Coroner Sam Bradford says Moore died from a single gunshot wound to the hip. Family members describe him as a jokester.

"Always wanted to keep people laughing and always got a joke for people when you walk up," says Macon.

But Reco Robinson, the suspect's cousin, also witnessed the shooting. He says the joking went too far.

"He head butted my little cousin, kissed him on the face, he messed around," says Reco Robinson. "Next thing I know, I just heard a shot - pow!"

Reco Robinson says Jazzmun Robinson confessed to the shooting.

"He did. He admitted to it. He admitted to it," says Reco Robinson.

The Forest Police Chief says they're still investigating the murder. He expects Robinson to be charged with murder later this week.
