BLOUNTVILLE, TN (WJHL) -
Investigators are searching for a man involved in a bizarre high speed chase on Halloween night.

Monday's Most Wanted this week is Bradley Reynolds, 29, who Sullivan County investigators say put his wife and a child in danger and then ran away.

According to an incident report, a Sullivan County Sheriff's Officer was sent to Sullivan Gardens Middle School to check the welfare of a person after a report came in that a man and woman using drugs were on their way to pick up their daughter.   After spotting a car matching the phoned-in description, the officer turned on his blue lights and signaled the driver to pull over.

"When I approached the driver's side of the vehicle, the driver appeared nervous and began crying," the officer said.   "A male child was sitting in the passenger seat and a female was in the back seat.   The female stated that it was her fault that he was driving and the driver stated that he did not have a license."

The investigating officer said he later discovered the man driving the car was Reynolds and that the child was his 9-year-old son.

As the officer walked to his patrol car, he said Reynolds sped off.   After a pursuit that involved several stops and starts, the officer said Reynolds ran through a gate at the end of Derby Drive.  That's when Reynolds, his wife and their son got out of the car and ran, the officer said.   The wife and son were located a short time later, but Reynolds wasn't found.

"He was putting the public in a dangerous situation because he passed two cars on a two lane road so he was adamant about getting away and fleeing on foot," said Leslie Earhart, Sullivan County Sheriff's Office spokesperson.  "So I think its important that we do find this gentleman and put him behind bars."

If you have information about the whereabouts of Bradley Reynolds, call the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office at (423) 279-7500 ext 222.
