Neshoba County Man Gets 40 Years For Manslaughter, Arson

A Neshoba County murder trial started and ended Monday, when the defendant decided to plead guilty.
WTOK TV reports (
) 47-year-old Daniel Williamson was originally charged with murder and arson in the death of his girlfriend, Terri Gwyn.
In an agreement reached after the trial started, Williamson pleaded guilty to manslaughter and arson. He was sentenced to 20 years on each count, with the prison terms to run consecutively.
Gwyn was found inside the burned mobile home that she had shared with Williamson in March.
