HINDS COUNTY - JACKSON -

An RV explodes at the State Fairgrounds in Jackson and gives people in the area quite a scare.

The walls and windows of the RV are gone, and there's broken glass on the ground at least 50 feet from the scene.

Jackson Fire officials tell us propane built up inside, and the vehicle eventually exploded. Thankfully and miraculously no one was injured. Two dogs had to be rescued. They're doing fine.

Witnesses can't believe what they heard and saw.

"I thought it was a trailer coming out right there and just got hit by something," says Taylor Arinder. "It was pretty loud. I heard just 'boom', come outside, and you could see it, and everybody just run out here, a whole bunch of people standing around. We got up in the back, got looking around, didn't see anybody. It was just loud, just 'boom!'"

The State Fire Marshal is handling the investigation. We'll keep you updated on this story.
