KINGSPORT, TN (WJHL) -

News Channel 11 has learned that Elise Kiser, a 53 year old woman involved in a crash at Fort Henry Drive and Atoka Lane, has died from her injuries. 

Kingsport Police say she died on Saturday, December 7, 2013 around 4:45 PM at Holston Valley Medical Center. 

Police are hoping for anyone who may have been a witness at the time of the crash to step forward.

Officers say there are conflicting reports about the moments leading up to the crash.

A traffic accident sends a woman to the hospital with what Kingsport Police call "extensive injuries".

Police say the injured driver pulled out in front of a Ford F-150 driven by 34 year old Michael R. Bryant.

Officers say it happened around 5:30 PM on December 3, 2013. at the intersection of Fort Henry Drive and Atoka Lane right in front of Wal Mart.

Police say the injured driver, 53 year old Elise Kiser, was in the center turn lane going southbound, where she was about to turn onto Atoka.

After that police say for unknown reasons, Kiser pulled into the path of the Ford F-150.

The driver of the F-150 wasn't injured and he told police he had a green light during the crash.

Officers say the investigation remains ongoing.
