Jackson -

A law enforcement official has testified that it's not clear who shot and wounded a U.S. Marshals task force agent during the search for a murder suspect in Jackson.

The wounded officer is a Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics agent assigned to the task force. His stomach was grazed by a shot Tuesday during the search of a house.

The suspect wasn't at the house, but others were, including Arturo Rodriguez.

Michael Huff is a Hinds County deputy and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives task force agent.

Huff testified Wednesday that two officers inside the house shot at Rodriguez when he pointed a gun at them.

Huff says it's not clear if Rodriguez also fired his weapon or who shot the wounded officer, who was outside at the time.
