UNICOI COUNTY, TN (WJHL) -  The Unicoi County Sheriff's Office is offering a $1,000 dollar reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for forcing a woman into her home and robbing her at gunpoint.   The incident happened Monday night.
During a two day manhunt, search crews with K-9 units focused their efforts in the Pleasant Hill Drive and Marbleton Road area of the county.

According to Sheriff Mike Hensley, a woman was confronted in her home on Pleasant Hill Road by two men wearing ski masks around 9:30 p.m. Monday.   The men used tape to restrain the woman and threatened to kill her if she did not open a safe in the home, Hensley said.   When the woman was unable to open the safe, the men ran.

Tuesday, the Unicoi County Sheriff's Office reiterated its belief that this was a targeted attack by people who knew the intended victims.
"They know they owned a business, and they even knew they had kids," Sheriff Hensley said.  "So it's somebody that knew them."

"We're asking people to contact 9-1-1 right away if someone comes to their door or if they see someone on foot in the Marbleton Road or Pleasant Hill Drive areas," Sheriff Hensley said.

The Sheriff's Office said a reward would go to the individual who leads deputies to a suspect who is arrested and convicted in this case.
