Former JPD Officer To Plead Guilty In Bribery Case

Former JPD officer, Tony Davis, is set to plead guilty to bribery case. Former JPD officer, Tony Davis, is set to plead guilty to bribery case.
A change of plea hearing has been scheduled for Dec. 18 for a former Jackson Police Department narcotics officer charged in a federal bribery case.
    
The hearing for Tony Davis was scheduled in an order Monday. His attorney had filed a notice in U.S. District Court in Jackson that Davis intends to plead guilty.
    
Davis was indicted Oct. 3 and charged with trying to bribe another officer related to city transactions. He had pleaded not guilty.
    
Davis is free on a $10,000 unsecured bond.
